Pharmaceutical Manufacturer seeks self-motivated, organised team players with an eye for detail. Candidates must be literate, numerate and computer savvy. Applicants will be required to have simple technical knowledge and an interest in how machinery operates.
Ideally the candidate would have an understanding of good manufacturing practices.
Operators will need to dispense and weigh a number of different materials from bulk bags and drums to small quantities required according to a picking list. Picking Lists are to be printed using a database to allocate materials according to a Batch Process Record (BPR).
Mixing, Granulating & Blending
Operator will need to mix, granulate and blend materials to a specific recipe. This will involve using pre-dispensed materials along with additional materials according to a picking list.
Compression and Encapsulation
Operator will be tasked with the running of compression and encapsulation machines which produce tablets and capsules at up to 10,000 per/min. Other duties will include a series of in process tests to ensure the product meets the specification.
Operator will be required to clean, maintain and setup their area and equipment. This is essential to ensuring we comply with the current regulations and keep our equipment and machines fit for purpose.
Good Housekeeping, ensure their work space is clean tidy and organised
Document completion including Batch Records, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and training folder
Health and Safety, reporting any issues to supervisor/manager
Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
