Process Manager – FMCG – Taunton - £35-45k Plus excellent benefits
My client, a successful and growing drinks manufacturer is looking to recruit a Process Manager. The successful Process manager will play an important part in the senior management team and will report directly into the Group Manufacturing Director.
Your main role will be to ensure that Raw materials are ordered in time and quantity to meet production plans detailed on SAP and demand planning. You will ensure that all products are manufactured according to BOMs, specifications and best practice techniques.
Other duties will include:
· Ensuring that all staff follow H & S procedures and guidelines to ensure that staff are safe at work.
·Participation in sensory evaluation of products at weekly and monthly tastings when required.
·Participation on behalf of the process department in HACCPS meetings.
·Ensuring that all staff are trained in line with department, site and company requirements,
·Ensuring that the department fulfils the requirements of QMS, including BRC, customer and internal audits.
·Ensuring that all processes are recorded accurately and in a timely manner on SAP.
·To participate in the waste water meetings.
·To liaise with the engineering department regarding equipment and building issues.
·To monitor all KPI’s, including energy and to promote a culture of CI, Continuous Improvement
·To ensure the accuracy of ALL stocks on SAP, conducting stock takes to facilitate this.
- To have experience in Food, Drink or Pharmaceutical processing and a good understanding of analytical techniques
- To have strong ERP experience and to be computer literate in the main ‘Windows’ applications.
- Excellent communication skill.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel off site to meetings and events etc.
The salary range on this role is £35k to £45k depending on skills and experience, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, enhanced Pension contribution, access to discounted family private healthcare, 5% annual bonus on business achieving net profit target. This role is based between Taunton and Exeter close to the M5 motorway.
This role would suit high calibre candidates who are currently working in Operations / Production Management / Process improvements, CI Continuous improvement within FMCG environments.
