Process Development Technologist – Yeovil - £25-35K
My client is looking to recruit a Process Development Technologist to join their Technical and NPD team based at their modern manufacturing site near Yeovil, Somerset. My client, a leading manufacturer in their field is looking to recruit additional staff as a result of growth and a new factory that is being built. The successful Process Development technologist will be responsible for developing, optimising and implementing innovative processes for product manufacture from development through to launch including improvement of existing products. This is a ‘hand on role’ and the successful candidate will have a ‘can do’ positive attitude.

Main responsibilities will include:
·Optimising product manufacture from formulation through to dispatch
·Driving process development for innovation from concept through to commercialisation
·Critically analyse and review experimental results
·Attend relevant trade shows seeking new innovative developments

The successful Process Technologist will have:
Process experience gained in either a food, drink or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
Excellent organisation skills, attention to detail and precision
Excellent IT skills including the use of Word, Excel and Outlook to a high level.

This role offers a salary of £25-35k DOE together with a long list of benefits including 36days holiday Inc. BHdays, contributory pension scheme, healthcare and a staff benefits package.

This role is commutable from Chard, Taunton, Yeovil, Wincanton and Glastonbury
