Probate Solicitor – Cardiff (Hybrid)

This vacancy is to work within a successful trust and estate administration department at a Legal 100 law firm in Cardiff. The department provide expert advice to individuals and companies on probate, trusts and estates administration, lasting powers of attorney and deeds of variation.

The Role:
This position is for a junior solicitor or chartered legal executive where you will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of taxable and non-taxable estates, with a range of complexity. The role also includes the supervision of paralegals within the team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Handling estate administration matters from instruction to conclusion
• Working to targets, deadlines and service level agreements
• Supporting and supervising junior team members (experience advantageous)

About You:

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with at least 1 PQE in non-contentious probate, including wills, estates, tax and trusts
• Strong client care and communication skills
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• A forward-thinking and proactive approach
• STEP diploma (advantageous but not essential)
