We are seeking a Private PA/Finance Manager to oversee the financial administration of an art gallery in Mayfair and the private affairs of our retired Chairman, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm. Extensive (10+ years) experience as Personal Assistant to a HNWI and/or a multi functional role at a high level in a small business.
Please note that art gallery experience will only be beneficial if in addition to the requirements below.
Extensive dictation for which either shorthand or touch typing will be required (60wpm minimum - tested at interview)
Maintaining the computerised accounting records of two companies. Knowledge of TASBooks, SAGE or similar accounting software required, however training will be given on the specific software used
A good knowledge of VAT as it relates to operating an art gallery
Stock management for insurance
Management of the Chairman's personal diary
Liaising with household staff at his properties in the UK and overseas
Managing the administration for his various investments and trusts
Managing his medical appointments and liaising with doctors' offices
Dealing with insurance - health, property, life, vehicle
Managing his travel requirements (booking flights, private jets, holidays)
Liaising with family and friends
Providing cash and investment reports
It is essential that you are an expert user of Word and Excel as you will be using both extensively. A solid ability to understand, collate and present figures is essential.
