Are you a Private Client Tax Senior or an experienced Semi Senior looking for the next exciting step in your career?

Public Practice specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have been instructed on an excellent opportunity with a forward-thinking firm of accountants in Darlington who are seeking a Private Client Tax Senior to join their tax team.

This opportunity would suit an ATT qualified and/ or CTA student who is looking for career progression and the opportunity to develop their tax advisory expertise.

You will gain exposure to an impressive Private client portfolio including UHNWI's, HNWIs, Directors and Non-domiciled individuals. The successful individual will be allocated their own portfolio of clients being their first point of contact and be responsible for providing compliance and advisory services, working closely with a number of Partners.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Managing a diverse portfolio of clients
Clients include Directors, Sole Traders, HNWIs and non-domiciled individuals
Preparation and review of Personal Tax returns
Identifying tax planning opportunities
Assisting the Partner(s) with consulting and advisory work
Compliance: Advisory split dependent on the individual
Reviewing the work of junior staff members
Dealing with ad-hoc client queries

Requirements:

ATT Qualified / CTA Part Qualified/ Qualified
Strong Personal/ Private client tax experience within a practice environment
Strong communication skills
