Are you looking to advance your legal career with a dynamic and forward-thinking firm? We’re seeking a talented and motivated Private Client Solicitor to join a growing team, working across the Milton Keynes and Northampton offices.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a solicitor with 3–5 years’ PQE to develop their career within a supportive environment that values professional growth, flexibility, and community engagement.
The Role You’ll handle a broad range of private client matters, advising clients on:
Wills and estate planning
Lasting Powers of Attorney
Trusts (including Declarations of Trust)
Court of Protection applications
Probate and estate administration
You’ll take client instructions, manage your own caseload under supervision, and play an active role in the development and marketing of the department.
Key Responsibilities
Manage private client matters from instruction through to completion
Provide excellent client care and maintain high professional standards
Supervise and support junior and administrative staff
Assist with departmental marketing and business development
Maintain Lexcel accreditation standards and file management procedures
Ensure effective time recording and achievement of targets
Work collaboratively within a friendly, professional team
About You
Qualified Solicitor with 3–5 years PQE in Private Client law
Experience across Wills, LPAs, Probate, and Trusts
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Client-focused approach with excellent attention to detail
Willingness to pursue STEP or SFE membership (or already a member)
