Private Client Solicitor

• Private Client Solicitor - 3-5 Years PQE
• Milton Keynes / Northampton (Hybrid) 1 day per week WFH
• £40,000 - £48,000 per annum

Are you looking to advance your legal career with a dynamic and forward-thinking firm? We’re seeking a talented and motivated Private Client Solicitor to join a growing team, working across the Milton Keynes and Northampton offices.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a solicitor with 3–5 years’ PQE to develop their career within a supportive environment that values professional growth, flexibility, and community engagement.

The Role
You’ll handle a broad range of private client matters, advising clients on:

• Wills and estate planning
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Trusts (including Declarations of Trust)
• Court of Protection applications
• Probate and estate administration
• You’ll take client instructions, manage your own caseload under supervision, and play an active role in the development and marketing of the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage private client matters from instruction through to completion
• Provide excellent client care and maintain high professional standards
• Supervise and support junior and administrative staff
• Assist with departmental marketing and business development
• Maintain Lexcel accreditation standards and file management procedures
• Ensure effective time recording and achievement of targets
• Work collaboratively within a friendly, professional team

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with 3–5 years PQE in Private Client law
• Experience across Wills, LPAs, Probate, and Trusts
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Client-focused approach with excellent attention to detail
• Willingness to pursue STEP or SFE membership (or already a member)
