QED Legal are currently working with a leading Legal 500 firm based in Colchester to join their growing Private Client department.

Operating for over 100 years across the Essex region, this firm can offer a homely environment in which to thrive and gain additional skills and most importantly progress in the firm. Possessing values within the market, they are committed to providing an excellent service to their clients.

The Private Client team consists of 26 across all their North and South Essex offices including 8 Partners, 8 Solicitors, 4 Paralegals, 4 Legal Executives and 2 Legal Secretaries so support will always be provided for the Solicitor when required.

The Agriculture & Estates team offers advice on will provisions, complex tax planning, partnerships agreements, development advice and overage agreements.

You will be expected to demonstrate the experience to deal with a caseload of wills, probate, LPAs, tax and trust planning matters. The firm is open to the level of PQE as long as candidates can demonstrate an ability to handle your own caseload of matters covering some or all of the above.

Applications are invited from candidates with a minimum of 2 years PQE however, those that fall just outside of this banding will also be considered providing they have the relevant experience at a reputable firm. Applications are also more than welcome from experienced Private Client Legal Executives.
