Private Client Solicitor

Our client is a leading regional firm with a number of offices throughout the south. Their private client team has a really good reputation and deals with general wills, trusts and probate as well as court of protection specific work. Currently they are looking to recruit a lawyer into this team based in Maidstone.

This role would see you working specifically within the Trust and Tax Planning Team providing estate administration services and advice on Wills, LPAs and tax planning to their existing and target clients.

This role will see you providing general tax planning advice; Preparing Wills of varying degrees of complexity; Drafting trust deeds, declarations of trusts, deeds of variation; Advising on and preparing and registering powers of attorney; Dealing with the administration of estates of varying complexities and the implementation of associated trust arrangements; Supporting business development initiatives for the team and the firm

Here you will manage a busy caseload that will see you acting for and advising a wide range of private individuals but in particular those with high net worth, landed estate owners and owners of SMEs

You have to be admitted as a Solicitor with the right to work in the UK and at least 2 years PQE in Private Client work in a respected regional or London practice. Proven experience of being commercially aware is important. STEP qualification is a desirable but not essential.
