Private Client Paralegal

Our client is a leading corporate law firm, with over 50 years' experience providing services to national and international businesses and private clients alike.
They now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Private Client Paralegal to take on a key role within their growing and progressive team.
About the Private Client Paralegal role
Reporting to the Head of Department, you will be responsible for managing a varied Private Client caseload and providing legal support to Partners and fee earners in the Team.
Key aspects of the role will include:
- Carrying out Cross-border estate administrations
- Conducting negotiations with HMRC establishing existence of constructive trust, and estate valuations
- Advising on implementation of NIl Rate Band Discretionary Trusts in Wills
- Liaising with HMRC re undertakings in respect of IHT where no funds available
- Making emergency applications to Court of Protection
Skills you will need:
Due to the nature of the role, our client is looking for someone with 2 years experience dealing with a successful and varied Private Client caseload.
You will have experience working in a similar, large law firm and will able to utilise the opportunities offered by the high-level work carried out by the Private Client team.
If you are a self-starter and highly motivated with the drive to go the extra mile and further your personal development this may be the ideal role for you.
