We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join this leading law firm based in Peterborough.
The successful candidate will draft legal documents from instructions taken by qualified team members.
You will provide administrative services to the Probate department.
Assist with Trust administration
Assist with other general administrative duties as required
Draft legal documents from instructions taken by qualified team members
Maintain databases as required
You will maintain investment records and investment portfolio comparison matrices and provide feedback to fee earners as appropriate
Review and note interim quarterly reports
Check Asset confirmation reports
Review tax payments due and ensure payment, to include all necessary administration and submission to HMRC
Respond promptly to clients (as required) and colleagues
Ensure a speedy turnaround of work
Contribute pro-actively to departmental matters
Be logical, organised and thorough
Knowledge of and competency in some trust, tax and investment procedures
Knowledge of and competency in Information Technology
Continuous improvement in skills and knowledge
Uses time effectively to ensure high productivity
Excellent client handling skills - face to face and on the telephone
Produces accurate work
Effective filing systems - keeps track of documents and files which are easy to find when needed
