I am recruiting on behalf of a leading law firm who are looking to hire a Legal secretary to join the Private Client department at their York office. Competitive salary offered along with an excellent bonus package.

My client is a well established and highly regarded multi service law firm who are looking to recruit a Legal secretary due to their continued growth and expansion. Working for this forward-thinking firm, there is a pleasant working environment along with opportunities for progression and development.

As a Legal secretary, you will have a broad spectrum of responsibilities which will include audio typing complex documents, diary management, assisting the team as well as administrative duties such as taking calls and messages, arranging meetings, photocopying and archiving files.

It is essential for successful candidates to have had at least 6 months of working as a legal PA or legal secretary within a private client/wills and probate team. You will show passion and enthusiasm for working within private client and demonstrate an ability to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision. Ideally you will have a typing speed of 60 wpm.
