Principal Trainer

Location: Central Banbury – OX16 0AE with other locations (including client premises, training venues and home working)

Salary: £27,000 to £32,000 per annum

Agilysis are Transport Behaviour and Safety Consultants team with over 15 years’ experience working together. Using this vast industry experience they:

  • Evaluate what works in the fields of road safety, public health and sustainability
  • Help organisations review their programmes with an independent viewpoint and critical thinking
  • Supply innovative reports to give insight into road safety and other public health and transport issues
  • Provide advanced analytical and data visualisation technologies with online delivery through dashboards and maps

Duties of the Principal Trainer:

  • Lead the delivery of classroom training for young driver courses as part of a nationwide, government commissioned project
  • Deliver other training courses and workshops for Agilysis clients and the public
  • Ensure that appropriate training materials, infrastructure and support is in place to underpin high quality delivery
  • Ensure that quality standards are maintained in this portfolio of training
  • Undertake line management and training responsibilities for training staff
  • Communicate and connect with clients and other stakeholders to explain, promote and expand Agilysis’ training services
  • Represent Agilysis at conferences and other industry events
  • Pursue continuous professional development and training to maintain relevant knowledge and skills

Requirements of the Principal Trainer:

  • Educated to A-level or equivalent, with substantial experience of training delivery and excellent communication skills
  • Experience of classroom delivery, preferably with young people, is highly desirable
  • Relevant degree and/or a teaching qualification is desirable
  • A driving licence, access to a car and a flexible attitude to working away from home is required
  • Previous experience of designing course materials, organising training sessions, quality monitoring and/or staff supervision would be an advantage
  • Road Safety knowledge and IT literacy would be beneficial
