Rare and highly rewarding opportunity for a Flow Cytometry expert to join a world-leading scientific business!

Are you an accomplished scientist with extensive experience developing Flow Cytometry methods across multiple platforms? Are you a commercially aware individual - able to identify industry trends and subsequently capable of implementing strategies/products/services to address and harvest these potential new opportunities?

Your primary responsibilities will include establishing, promoting and leading an exciting new Flow Cytometry service for our clients’ current portfolio. In-house you will be the recognised technical expert and have primary responsibility for the development and validation of challenging novel Flow Cytometry methods. You will be pivotal in the development and expansion of the Flow Cytometry team; liaising with crucial clients, attending and presenting at international meetings and be involved in the initial training of key members of the group. You will offer technical support to the Business Development team as they aim to identify and secure new business opportunities. You will also track market trends and propose business plans to capitalise upon these.

The ideal candidate will possess:

- Extensive experience in Flow Cytometry

- An outstanding reputation via a strong scientific pedigree

- Strong method development and validation skills

- Experienced manager

- Confident training staff of all levels
