Are you an expert Mass Spectrometrist with over 5 years’ LCMS/MS and Accurate Mass systems experience? Do you have experience within metabolite identification and/or structure elucidation? Have you developed and validated novel methods to GLP regulations?

Then this could be the role for you!

Our client is looking for an accomplished and motivated Principal Mass Spectrometrist to lead a small team of scientists identifying unknown metabolites and elucidating complex structures. You will provide technical expertise and guidance across the organisation, developing and optimising LC-MS/MS and LC-Accurate Mass methods within a range of complex matrices as well as being responsible for the training and supervision of staff.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Minimum BSc in Chemistry or related scientific discipline
  • 5 or more years’ experience using MS to identify unknown metabolites and impurities
  • Experience developing methods in GLP regulated laboratory environments
  • Previous experience managing/leading team
  • Excellent written and communication skills
