Principal IT Support Specialist
Essex (Part Remote)
£35,000 - £37,000 + Training + Progression + Autonomy + Flexible Working

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Principal IT Support Specialist to join a thriving and international industry giant in the healthcare and medical solutions field offering progression, training and autonomy.


This global and innovative company are a leading provider of medical device systems and infection prevention products, positively impact the lives of others. This dedicated healthcare solutions provider encourage internal progression and personal career development, they are now looking for a Principal IT Support Specialist to join the team due to recent internal promotions.


In this role you will install, configure and maintain desktop and software workstations, design , develop and maintain existing networks and manage day-to-day work assignments for the IT Support Specialist team in the UK and globally. This will include managing network components such as switches and firewalls as well as assessing functional needs for the business and making recommendations for improving automation and internal processes.


The ideal candidate will have experience in 2nd and or 3rd line IT support and have a good knowledge of designing and maintaining infrastructure networks and have hand on experience with Office 365, Active Directory, SharePoint and ServiceNow.

The Role:
*Designing, Maintaining, and Developing hardware, software and internal networks
*Troubleshooting network connectivity and support desk enquiries
*managing network components such as firewalls and switches
*Recommending process and automation improvements
*User Administration such as licence assignment and workstation requests

The Person:
*Experienced in IT Support and Windows based enterprise environments
*Experience with storage, virtualization, and server administration
*Knowledge of Sharepoint, ServiceNow, Office 365 and Active Directory
*Commutable to Essex
*Bachelor's Degree is desirable
