Principal Cloud Consultant/AWS Solutions Architect

My Central London based client, a client that are an established managed service provider and consultancy, are on the lookout for a Certified AWS Solutions Architect (ideally having worked within an MSP/Consultancy setting) to join the team as their Principal Cloud Consultant.

The consultant function, amongst other areas of the business, has grown from strength to strength and doubled in size in the past 12 months. Working with large enterprise clients, you will be the AWS go-to member of the team.

As the Principal Cloud Consultant, you will require a particular set of skills.........

Skills in the following:

  • AWS Cloud Design
  • Development and deployment of complex cloud solutions
  • Migration experience in both on-premise to AWS and Cloud to AWS
  • Knowledge of application architectures using non-MS and Open Source tech
  • Experience in discovery and analysis of existing workloads for migration to AWS including TCO benefit analysis

With demonstrable Cloud Architectural experience, and with a knowledge of development concepts such as Agile and DevOps to go with it, you'll be handling complex Cloud Infrastructure projects.

These projects predominantly within data centre/workload migrations.

You’ll act as TDA, developing high and low level design documents and migration strategies.

Pre-sales knowledge will be required as you will be getting involved in pre-sales engagements.

The position is based in Central London, with a salary of up to £75,000 per annum + 10% bonus + benefits and with an immediate start.
