Do you have a solid background or educational history in SEN needs and the Psychology of learning difficulties with children? Can you adapt your educational techniques to suit Primary age 5 - 11 years old for Autism and Dyslexia?
A Primary school local to you (Witney - OX28) is searching for their newest Primary Teaching Assistant to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting KS1/KS2 students aged 5 - 11 years old through maths, literacy, phonics and science.
Day to day as a Primary Teaching Assistant:
- Identifying any of the classroom Witney students struggling with their work, not able to access the information.
- Liaise with the Primary class Teacher on strategies to implement for students requiring additional educational techniques.
- Conduct yourself in a patient manner, to allow the KS1/KS2 students to ask questions and be a safe contact for them to be supported in their studies.
- Support the Witney Teacher with general classroom organisation, handing out resources and communicating with parents on the student progress plans.

School is located in Witney - OX28
Term time - 08:30am - 3:30pm
Requirements for the Witney Primary Teaching Assistant:
- 1 years' experience working with Primary aged students, this can be in form of supporting afterschool clubs, tutoring or Teaching Assistant roles.
- A can-do attitude, always willing to take on new techniques.
- Have a solid understanding of Safeguarding, undertaking regular training provided.
- Hold a clear DBS certificate (mandatory).
