Are you looking to pursue a career within teaching but hoping to gain some first-hands experience beforehand?

Are you graduating this year and seeking a graduate Teaching Assistant role before committing to Teacher Training next year?

This growing primary school are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join their school on a full-time basis as of September 2019. The Primary Teaching Assistant must be approachable, friendly and creative. The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will have the opportunity for salaried/un-salaried teacher training routes as of September 2020 if suitable.

The role of as a Primary Teaching Assistant will find you working throughout KS1 and KS2 supporting the class teachers throughout the school. You will provide the mixed ability pupils with extra support through 1:1 and small group sessions, therefore you will be able to demonstrate a great understanding of the curriculum by creating and delivering engaging and stimulating lesson content.

Your role will see you taking part in extra curricular activities and partaking in assisting in school trips. You will be able to communicate with the class teachers in a clear and professional manor to ensure all pupils are safe and understood.

Support given to the successful Primary Teaching Assistant:
*Regular CPD training
*Behavioural management procedure training
*Support from SLT, class teachers and SENCo
