Position: Primary Teaching assistant
School: Lovely 3 Form Entry Primary school
Location: Ancoats, East / Central London
Transport: 12 minutes’ walk from Piccadilly - some off-street parking for those who drive
Person: Experienced graduate with great communication skills
Salary: Earn £300 to £350 per week
This is a great full time graduate teaching assistant position in a lovely 3 Form Entry Primary School - just on the fringes of the City Centre - Ancoats, East / Central Manchester.
You will be able to offer:
- Experience in a TA / LSA role - at least 6 months full time experience
- Working knowledge of supporting SEN - particularly ASD, behaviour and/or literacy
- A 1ST or 2:1 degree from a good University and matching GCSER/ A Level grades
- Commitment to a full-time role for the remainder of this academic year at least
- Great communications skills - written and spoken
The school is a recent new build - all classrooms have the latest technologies and resources. This Primary teaching assistant role will be split between KS1 and KS2. You will team up with multiple teachers and support their efforts in class and all over the school.
This is a great opportunity for a graduate teaching assistant to further their experience and develop into a potential future star primary teacher. There could be a chance to train as a teacher on a salaried route from September 2018 - this will have to be decided once you are in the Primary Teaching Assistant post.
