We are seeking a dedicated Class Teacher to join a friendly and supportive rural school in Lancaster. This role involves teaching a mixed age class of 18 pupils, ranging from Reception to Year 2. The ideal candidate will be proficient with the EYFS and KS1 curriculum and experienced in teaching and planning for mixed age classes.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Teach a mixed age class of 18 pupils from Reception to Year 2.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the needs of a mixed age group.
  • Assess and record students' progress and provide feedback to support their development.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the educational experience of the students.
  • Participate in school events and activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with the EYFS and KS1 curriculum.
  • Experience in teaching and planning for mixed age classes is advantageous.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to foster a positive learning environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
