About the School - Year 4 NQT
Located in East Birmingham, this fabulous community primary school offers children the opportunity to learn through creativity and enquiry based learning. The school has a mixed intake of pupils from a range of cultural and social backgrounds. One of the main selling points about this school is the excellent behaviour management policy they have installed across the school, which has resulted in outstanding behaviour with all their pupils.
The school also has a very comprehensive NQT induction program, providing newly qualified teachers with lots of support and a good quota of 'out of class' time for planning and prep. The school also employs an additional float teacher to support with daily lessons, easing a little pressure of class teachers.
About the role and what the school are looking for
The role will be working with a Year 4 class. You will have the additional support of a Teaching Assistant (TA) and support from your parallel teacher and float teacher. The school will also provide full induction support. The school are looking for someone that has a hard-working attitude, is confident and has the ability to inspire children through creative learning. The school are not looking for the finished article at this stage so they will provide all the necessary professional development for the applicant to achieve their very best within the school.
