Your new role
Joining Hays Education as a Primary Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in a role that is completely flexible around your needs. You will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons or providing lesson planning, completing marking and assessments and ensuring a positive learning environment is maintained on a daily and/or long-term basis. As we have long-standing exclusive partnership agreements with primary schools, you may regularly return to the same schools therefore giving you an opportunity to build strong working relationships.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a Hays Education Primary Supply Teacher you will need to have Qualified Teacher Status (UK) and experience teaching with the last five years, this can be within a mainstream or SEND setting. You will need to be an approachable and patient Teacher who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations, whilst demonstrating a professional manor at all times. It is imperative that you have good communication and interpersonal skills as this is crucial for building strong working relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents and carers quickly.
