Summary

Engage Education are currently working with a voluntary aided, mixed Junior School in Enfield who require a Year 3 teacher to cover maternity leave (February 18 - July 2018)

The School

The School is based in Enfield, London. The mixed school has raised expectations for pupils at the end of key stage 2 and pride themselves on having a growth mindset. The school values, firmly rooted in Christian values and underpin all the work they do as a school. The pupils learn what each value means and why it is so important. They also learn how to demonstrate each value in their daily lives. Rated as Good by OFSTED this school has outstanding behavior with pupils and have excellent support among staff.

About the role

Your role will be to cover a Year 3 class for the end of the school year due to the current class teacher having to leave on maternity. You will be responsible for one of two Year 3 classes. Each class has 28 students and you will work in close partnership with a TA.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching within KS2, however, this is not necessary, the TA is experienced and will be able to offer support if needed.

Requirements

The school will require a fully qualified teacher. This role is also suitable for NQT’s.

Salary and Benefits

Main Pay Scale 1-3 (Outer London) £26,662 - £30,067
