2 form entry school Zone 1 Primary School
Spring Term 2018 (ASAP) Start
An exciting position has opened up within a central South East London school, not far from Elephant & Castle, who are looking for an experienced Primary Intervention Teacher to help improve levels of attainment in literacy and numeracy among higher and lower ability groups, best utilising this schools additional funding! This is an integral role which will ibe to focus on Year 2 and Year 6 SATs, to close the gap. This is a very attractive role where you will work with small groups of students across either KS1 or KS2.
We are proud to partner with this school who have a lovely reputation and are a smaller school with just 2 form entry. You will benefit from a supportive and approachable leadership team who believe that good progress is made within the classroom and at home and are regularly visible to offer support to teachers, students and parents. Students at the school are regarded as mostly well behaved though being armed with strong behavioural management skills will be highly beneficial.
With great public transport links, the school is easily accessed from the Overground, underground and close to Elephant & Castle tube station.
Experience with intervention or PPA cover will be desirable but not essential. You will be a strong teacher who is considered to be flexible, adaptable and collaborative. Have achieved good grades in your teaching practices and can provide evidence of effective behavioural management. Additionally, a proven reflective practitioner able to nurture positive relationships with students and colleagues.
