Primary Special Needs Teacher needed - To start ASAP - Part time
Your new company
This is a unique setting in Derbyshire that supports students from KS1 to KS4, All students have either been excluded from mainstream education, or have special educational needs and disabilities.
Your new role
You will be working with small groups of Key Stage 2 and 3 students, all of whom need nurture and support as well as an engaging education. You will be working on a part-time basis; 3 days a week with up to 5 students and the support of 2 Teaching Assistant's. The school timetable is a mixture of CORE subjects and PSHE, with focus on self esteem and positive identity.
What you'll need to succeed
You need to be a Primary trained teacher with a Primary PGCE, and holding Qualified Teacher Status. You must have worked with KS2 students, and have experience of planning, marking and assessing schemes of work. You will be expected to provide feedback and evaluate students progress.
