Calling all university graduates located in the West Midlands who are considering a career within education!

As a preferred supplier of the Cresent Purchasing Consortium (CPC) across the West Midlands for schools and academies, Hampton’s Education are currently seeking university graduates to work as Teaching Assistants in primary schools across Birmingham, Walsall and Wolverhampton from September 2018.

These positions are ideal for aspiring education professionals and in particular aspiring teachers as it will give you invaluable classroom experience before starting a teacher training programme.

*Graduate Teaching Assistant
*University Graduates required who hold/predicted a 2:1 or above Hons degree
*Degree or strong A-Levels in English, maths or science is advantageous
*Full-time roles available - 8.30am - 4pm- Monday - Friday
*September start - full 2018/19 academic year
*Ideal experience for an aspiring primary school teacher
*£55 - £65 per day
*Birmingham, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Sutton Coldfield

Hampton's Education currently supporting primary schools and require high achieving graduates with the ability to enthuse and motivate young people to bring out the best in them.

Working as a graduate teaching assistant is a fantastic opportunity if you are seriously considering a career working with children, especially if you are an aspiring teacher.

To be considered for these roles you must show a genuine desire to work with young people and ideally (although not essential) have some experience working with children aged 5-11. You will need to hold or have been predicted at 2:1 or above Hons degree or if lower, hold strong A-Levels in English, maths or science. You will need a can-do attitude, a big smile, with bags of enthusiasm and energy and be willing to go the extra mile inside to help make a difference in the lives of young people.

As a graduate teaching assistant, you will be supporting the class teacher working with the whole class, 1:1 or in small groups to help pupil progress and ensure all children are reaching their potential. You will need to have high expectations of learning and as a role model within the classroom, it is essential you have excellent reading, writing and communication skills.
