Pricing Manager

I'm currently working on behalf of an exciting, innovative business based in Merseyside, to recruit a Pricing Manager to join their rapidly growing team.

The Pricing Manager has two clear functions - pricing analysis and margin improvement across all customers and suppliers and the provision of actionable analysis of customer performance data. The role sits at the heart of the Commercial department working across all functions including sales and marketing, bid management, sales support and supplier relations while also having strong links to the finance, operations and performance departments.

The Pricing Manager role is an exciting, newly created position, and the successful candidate will be joining the team at a pivotal time in the company's expansion.

The Pricing Manager, based in the Merseyside office, will work within the Commercial Department to redefine the pricing policy for both new and existing business. A tenacious individual, the successful candidate will hunt out value and increased margins across all customer accounts through analysing supplier allocation, route price optimisation and customer usage data.

The second part of the role is to define and implement the company's strategy for the analysis of performance data and the actions to be taken to improve the service delivered to customers. Working with the sales and account management team, the successful candidate will provide insight and analysis of the data and provide recommendation on the course of action to be taken. This new role within the department gives the successful candidate the opportunity to shape the direction of the company's pricing policy while having a key role in steering service performance.

Key skills for this role;

- Previous experience in reviewing and building new pricing policies

- Excellent analytical skills and able to identify and articulate the best course of action from the data

- Experience with Power BI or Salesforce

- Excellent communication skills- able to work at all levels within the business

- Organised, professional with the ability to build and manage processes
