Pricing Assistant

We at the Hood Group are looking for a Pricing Assistant who will assist the Group Pricing Manager and Pricing Executive in the development, market research and implementation of pricing across Hood Group. The Pricing Assistant will closely collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to assist in the understanding and defining of insurance product pricing. The role encompasses pricing analysis of consumer insurance products for a range of top UK brands, dealing with many underwriters through multiple channels including direct to consumer & price comparison. The salary on offer is £15-18k pa dependent on experience and 31 days annual leave (including 8 bank holidays). We also offer great benefits on completion of probation.

Skills and Experience:

Required:

  • Good working knowledge of spreadsheets preferably including use of formulas.
  • Analytical skills.


Beneficial but not essential:

  • Working experience of complex spreadsheet based analytics or accounting
  • Working experience of insurance pricing, including aggregators
