An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Press Toolmaker to join a leading second automotive manufacturer. As an experienced Press Toolmaker with knowledge of tool design and an understanding of tool drawings you will be responsible for new tooling and repairs as well as liaising with both internal and external clients. Salary will be up to £15.00 per hour dependent upon experience plus Shift Allowance.

Your core hours of work will incorporate a rotating 3 shift pattern consisting of 7am-3pm / 3pm-11pm / 11pm-7am

To be successful in this role, you may have previously worked as a Toolroom Technician, Tooling Engineer or Tooling Technician and you will have experience from within a press tool environment preferably within the Automotive sector along with the following experience & qualifications.

Be computer literate, as you will be responsible for updating preventative maintenance schedules.
Eye for detail - be able to obtain data, report findings and document them.
Knowledge/understanding of key process techniques (progression & transfer).
Have experience of maintaining the disciplines of tools maintenance - keeping records including cost data.
