Press Brake Setter

Workforce are recruiting for a Press Brake Setter / Operator to work for our client in West Bromwich. This is perfect for a candidate looking for long term work with an architectural manufacturing company who have secured work for the foreseeable future.

It is the expectation for the successful candidate to be able to hit the ground running therefore experience and ability in the following is key:

. Experience setting and operating hydraulic Press Brake machines, specifically Edward Pearson and Morgan Rush.
. Additional skills in the setting and operating of a guillotine, Trumpf NC punch, manual hydraulic punch/press, table saws, pillar drills and manual mill.
. Must have some experience of working with aluminium, stainless steel and steel.
. Experience with and knowledge of tool specification to ensure correct tooling is purchased for specific jobs.
. Ability to improve processes and be able to demonstrate ability to reduce scrappage.
. Basic CAD drawing using Radan.
