Precision Machinist (Turning & Milling)

Our client is a long established specialist company in the design, development and manufacture of PTFE (Fluoropolymer) products and components serving a broad range of industries world-wide including laboratory, pharmaceutical, chemical processing, food & drink, semi-conductor and aerospace.

They seek to provide workable solutions to design and manufacturing problems and their technical excellence and detailed attention to meeting client requirements makes them respected market leaders in their field with a reputation for being experts in PTFE and it's products.

They are looking to recruit an experienced multi-skilled Machinist with the ability to operate across a broad range of manual and CNC machining processes including milling, turning and grinding.

The successful candidate will be a time served machinist with a minimum ONC in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years post apprenticeship experience in a precision machining role. It is also essential that they have the ability to interpret engineering drawings and to program, edit, set and run a variety of turning, milling and grinding machines.

It would be advantageous if candidates have previous experience of programming using Siemens and Fanuc controls and operating Haas, Emco & Mazak machinery.

This is a permanent position within a growing company.

Mon-Thurs 8-5, Friday 8-2. Generous holiday allowance, pension, death in service, uniform provided.
