This organisation supply aerospace, defence, energy and various other sectors supporting customers nationwide. They operate a production environment, manufacturing precision components and mechanical assemblies. Their company growth has primarily come from recommendations from customers which is a testament to the quality of their work and this is set to continue. This particular role within the business is to work days, but can be worked anytime between 6am and 6pm across 4 or 5 days.
Your new role
The candidate will be time served in mechanical engineering, able to produce components or add features to pre-machined components on conventional milling, turning and grinding machines, and be able to fully understand technical drawings. You may also be required to work on the CNC machines which include Doosan, Mazak and Citizen Sliding Head machines, any CNC experience on these machines will be advantageous but training will be provided. The role will involve machining parts for a varied customer base, with varied batch sizes and adding features to pre-machined components.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience of working on conventional machines are essential, with some form of CNC experience.To be successful within this position, it would be beneficial for you to have a strong and flexible working attitude and be keen to develop your career within Engineering.
