Pre-School Teacher

Your new SchoolThis role is working part-time (ideally 3 days per week) in the growing nursery provision of a busy primary school in St Helens. The role is starting in January 2026.

Your new role

• Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons in Nursery / Pre-school
• Maintain an inclusive classroom that nurtures curiosity and early learning
• Follow EYFS frameworks and tailor activities to meet the needs of young learners.
• Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure smooth transitions during staff absences
• Confidently manage behaviour
• Adapt your teaching style to suit the unique ethos of each school

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), with Early Years experience
• A flexible and proactive approach to working across different school environments
• Strong communication skills to build rapport with young children and staff
• Confidence in delivering the EYFS curriculum and managing early years routines
• Previous experience in Nursery or Reception within a primary school setting
