One of the UK’s leading Network Integration Company’s and part of a £Billion organisation that builds and manages networks and services is seeking a Pre Sales, Presales, Pre-Sales Solutions Architect to work with the Sales team on client accounts to help qualify and understand the Customers IT architecture and strategy. The Pre Sales, Presales Architect will engage resources as appropriate to develop specific opportunities which they uncover and deliver quality High Level Designs (HLD's) to the customer. The Pre Sales, Presales Architect will work closely with Sales to deliver an excellent overall customer experience
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
The Pre Sales, Presales Architect will:
> Work with and support Sales in accounts, to design, influence and shape the Customers’ IT architecture and strategy to deliver HLDs that meet their business outcomes.
> Assist in the development of an account strategy and contact plan for accounts aimed at raising the awareness of the Company value proposition and develop opportunities across a broad range of Solution areas.
> Assist the Account Manager and/or Bid Manager with the technical qualification of a new business opportunity or prospect, or with a complex requirement within an existing Customer account, to ensure that it aligns with Company target markets, portfolio, delivery and life-cycle services capability.
> To work with the sales team and/or Bid Manager to respond to formal tenders when issued by customers, ensuring the responses are of the highest quality.
> Build a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing Customers in accounts and to help customers with road mapping their requirements and future needs.
Essential Skills & Experience
The Pre Sales, Presales Architect will have:
# Extensive experience in Pre Sales in the Cisco Networking arena
# Broad and current knowledge of Cisco Product Portfolio, Solutions and Architectures
# Extensive experience in designing Cisco networking solutions including management and provisioning platforms
# Experience of designing and demonstrating (PoC) Cisco Unified Communications and Collaboration products and services
# Strong technical background across a broad range of networking and security products aligned with the strategic needs of the business
# Advanced understanding of service and sales principles and practice
# Ideally having knowledge of ITIL
# Ideally holding industry recognised networking accreditations, for example Cisco CCDP/CCNP
