PRE-SALES CONSULTANT FOR ERP SOFTWARE
We see this as a superb role for a first class ERP Pre-Sales Consultant who can deliver professional technical and functional demonstrations of ERP software solutions in a seminar or one to one environment and be an ambassador for this company. You will work alongside the sales and the marketing team as well as the ERP consultants and build strong relationships with your clients. A very competitive package is on offer with a base salary of up to £80,000, with an OTE of £105,000, £5k car allowance, life insurance, private health care, pension and company gym.
Our client is a global ERP author and a FTSE 100 company; they employ more than 1,000 people and have multiple offices across the world. You will get full cross training to their particular ERP software solution to enable you to have the functional and technical knowledge necessary to deliver strong presentations and demos. Here in the UK they are passionate about developing their software which is available in the cloud as well as on premise. Their ERP offering is a fully flexible and scalable solution for the manufacturing, distribution, retail, food & drink and high tech industries with a strong financial element.
You will support their sales team through functional & technical sales presentations of their ERP solution to prospective and existing clients. The role is varied with some office based time, some home based days and working out on client site and at events & seminars, engaging in client discovery sessions to design and deliver custom functional / technical demonstrations of ERP software as well as working with, and coaching their resellers to enable them to sell the product effectively.
You will provide feedback to the product team with improvement suggestions from customers, and mentor and coach the sales & marketing people to improve their ERP product knowledge. You will also help to plan and execute customer and partner events and trade shows and promote the values of the pre-sales team to the ERP Consultants and Sales Executives to collaborate well with them.
- Proven success in Pre-Sales of ERP or Accounting / Finance software solutions
- Able to design and deliver captivating presentations & demos
- Persuasive, influential and a great communicator
- Solid understanding of business processes and how to relate them to software capability
- Enthusiastic and empathetic
- Functional experience of Tier 1 or Tier 2 ERP or finance solutions such as Dynamics NAV, NetSuite, Epicor, Exact, Infor, Sage ERP X3, Sage 200, SAP Business One, E-Financials, Sage 1000, FinancialForce, Greentree, Syspro, COINS, Unit4 Agresso, QAD, Dynamics AX, IFS or similar
