Lorien Resourcing is looking for an experienced Pre-Employment Screening & Compliance Specialist (PES) to join a highly successful Corporate Accounts division in Edinburgh. Our continued success, and ambitions plan to grow the team in Scotland, recently saw us move into our brand new Edinburgh office - right in the heart of the city.

Lorien have a number of clients across the UK were we are engaged with at an RPO, MSP or MV level. These accounts are growing and the number of IT contractors that are on assignment at present that the PES team have to complete checks / PES packs for is increasing massively and is looking to double in the near future. We now need to recruit another person to this team to support this growth.
To give you an idea of the volumes - the team in Edinburgh currently complete approx 100 PES application packs per month for clients in Scotland. This will easily be 200 PES application packs per month in the near future, due to various acquisitions and new client wins. There is so much scope on how this role could eventually look - it just depends on the person and how much responsibility you want to take on, which will naturally reflect the package and opportunity.
The role of the PES team is to help with the on-boarding process of all our contractors who are successfully placed with Lorien's major corporate accounts. This is a very busy role in which time management is essential. You will be supporting some very busy corporate accounts.
Some of the Roles and responsibilities will include:
- Dealing with Pre-employment screening and procedures for the Client
- Production of MI reports for Lorien Senior Management and the Client
- Relationship management with all contractors
- Regular onsite meetings, rate negotiations and preparation of all legal contracts
- Chasing up missing documentation from contractors EG: Passports
- Updating internal Database
- Liaising with contractors for renewals and raising appropriate documentation
Communication skills are paramount as you will be in constant contact with your colleagues as well as the contractors. We are looking for an extremely organised candidate with good attention to detail. You will be competent with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office, however, training will be given on joining the company.
Experience working in a recruitment environment is essential for this role - PES Administrator / PES Specialist, will all be considered. You need to feel comfortable and confident on the telephone as you will be speaking to contractors and clients on a daily basis.
