PRE-CONSTRUCTION BID CO-ORDINATOR: Thatcham

Our client is a successful family business undertaking work in all areas of the construction industry, including care homes, residential, education, health, commercial, leisure and industrial projects. They are currently looking for a Pre-Construction Bid Co-ordinator.

Pre-Construction Bid Co-ordinator performance requirements are:

  • - EOI/PQQ/Bid/Tender Submissions (Single/2 Stage/Frameworks & Negotiated)

  • - Production of Case studies/CV’s

  • - Pipeline development

  • - Social media & Website development/update

  • - Marketing

  • - Branding

  • - Customer satisfaction & retention

  • - Meet deadlines

    Responsibilities:

  • - Working with the Estimating Team to consider the project at the bid / no bid stage

  • - Developing and reporting on the pipeline of work

  • - Developing client relationship

  • - Building Client presentations

  • - Developing the bid winning strategy

  • - Identifying the resources required for the tender and availability

  • - Managing the tender submission

  • - Planning / designing / proofing document production

  • - Working with / manage joint venture partners / internal companies

  • - Ensure a coordinated approach between all elements of the work winning team

  • - Ensuring work winning team provide information to the necessary deadlines

  • - Work with the Estimator to develop value engineering proposals

  • - Producing and/or reviewing the unique technical aspect to the submission

  • - Identifying risks and ensuring they are addressed within the tender risk register

  • - Attending pre-bid / mid-bid meetings with Clients

  • - Continuously identify and suggest ideas that will improve efficiencies

  • - Develop the existing team skills

  • - Manage tender portals

  • - Circulation of tender information

  • - Keen eye for detail both in reviewing information

  • - Good time management

  • - Good contacts / relationships within the industry
