Our client is a well established professional services firm based in a prime Central London location. The firm specialises in providing accountancy services to a broad range of high profile clients. They have a fantastic reputation within this field and have enjoyed steady growth over the past few years.
The firm are looking to take an experienced Office Manager / Practice Manager to oversee the smooth running of the office. Working closely with the Directors, you will be expected to take responsibility for:
Facilities management; dealing with suppliers, contractors and rental rates for the office
Day to day running of the London office
Dealing with staff expenses and managing petty cash
General HR duties; including new staff inductions, holidays, timesheets etc
Overseeing the recruitment of new staff
Dealing with computer and IT issues
Ensuring that the firm comply with all legislation (I.e. money laundering)
Health & safety
- Providing ad-hoc support to the Directors
To be considered for this position, you must have at least 3 years experience as an Office Manager / Practice Manager / Operations Manager or in a similar role.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working for a professional services firm, I.e. a Consultancy, accountancy firm, law firm or architectural practice who have fee earning staff.
