Practice Manager/Marketing

We have a fantastic opportunity to work for a thriving and professional organisation based in Hoddesdon. This exciting role combines the position of Practice Manager along with being responsible for strategic Marketing within the business. The role is a full-time permanent position offering a salary in the range of £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience.

Successful candidate should have experience of working within a multi-task role and have experience of running Marketing campaigns within a professional organisation.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work alongside Senior Management Team and keep them fully informed of all relevant marketing and business development trends, plans and information
  • Assist in the company marketing activities including marketing campaigns, organising social events and gatherings, social media and other direct marketing tasks
  • Assist Senior Management by acting as the Practice Manager and assist with all general and facility management including dealing with insurances, stationery, IT systems, filing systems, staff issues (if required) and any other duties as required
  • Organise promotional events such as seminars, networking events, breakfasts and lunches, both in house and external
  • Oversee planning, execution and follow-up of client seminars, management/colleague speaking engagements, special events and panel participation
  • Maintain the company’s internal system
  • Regular reporting
  • Management of all in-bound enquiries and tracking of opportunities
  • Keep the company website up to date and assist in its ongoing development, in liaison with external providers
  • Update social media platforms on a regular basis
  • Contribute towards the formulation of the company’s annual expenditure budget in relation to all marketing activities
  • Organise the distribution of marketing literature
  • Draft press releases when required
  • Design and produce company brochures and marketing materials
  • Produce the company’s newsletter for clients and monthly internal newsletter
  • Develop and implement the company’s advertising programme - design and place advertisements; negotiate contracts with media; work with design agencies on advertising campaigns
  • Conduct market research, preparing and submitting the reports to the Management Team
  • Manage the budget for event organisation

Skills/Experience Required

  • Office/work management experience
  • Experience in developing own marketing materials
  • Experience in managing and hosting marketing events and seminars
  • Experience of website maintenance, management and marketing preferred
  • Company Industry experience preferred, but not essential
  • Ability work effectively as part of a team as well as working on your own initiative
  • Strong organisation and planning skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Ability to work confidently and professionally with internal and external clients at all levels
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Intermediate skill level in desktop publishing, presentation software, database management and spreadsheet applications
  • Skilled at managing multiple projects
