About the Practice
This is a highly reputable St. James’s Place Partner Practice in North West London that we have supported for several years, helping them grow by placing high-calibre talent across the business. Their continued expansion has led to the creation of a brand-new Practice Manager role.
The Practice provides bespoke financial planning and wealth management advice to private clients, with an exceptional reputation for high-quality service and long-term client relationships—evidenced by their strong referral and recommendation network.
The Role
This newly created role sits at the heart of the business. As Practice Manager, you will work closely with the Senior Management Team, playing a pivotal role in shaping operational excellence and driving future growth. You will review existing processes, identify efficiencies, and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Practice.
You will also provide oversight across administration, client servicing, and compliance, supporting a high-performing team in delivering an exceptional client experience. This is a role where you can take ownership, bring ideas, and make a tangible impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside the Senior Management Team to influence and support the strategic direction of the business.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient workflows and high client service standards.
- Lead, manage, and support administrative and paraplanning teams; conduct check-ins and performance reviews.
- Implement and maintain compliance procedures aligned with SJP and FCA requirements.
- Coordinate client review meetings, manage Partner diaries, and ensure timely completion of follow-up actions and documentation.
- Support management reporting, business planning, and continuous process improvements.
- Maintain accurate client and business data within CRM systems.
- Act as the central point of contact for operational queries from clients, SJP, and internal staff.
About You
- Experience in Practice Management or Operations is beneficial, but not essential—this role is also ideal for a strong Senior Administrator ready to step up.
- A confident leader with excellent organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Solid understanding of financial services processes, client servicing, and regulatory requirements.
- High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-driven approach.
- Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and a client-focused mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Salesforce or Intelliflo is advantageous.
