PRACTICE ASSESSMENT RECORD & EVALUATION (PARE) PROJECT

WEB DEVELOPER

(Initially a 12 month fixed term contract or secondment)

£26,495 - £28,936 per annum

Based at either the Warrington, Shrewsbury or Clatterbridge Campus

The University of Chester is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Web Developer to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of web based practice assessment and evaluation systems for a range of healthcare professional students across eleven universities within the North of England. You will also be expected to contribute to provision of information management and statistical data to a range of stakeholders. This is an exciting time to join the project, as the next step is to branch into a range of other practice related fields, ranging from Education and Engineering, to Art Therapy.

You will have experience within a web development role, including experience of programming using Object Oriented PHP and MySQL; in addition to knowledge of HTML5, Javascript/JQuery, CSS, W3C Standards and other authoring and enhancing tools.

You will have an ability to problem solve, with excellent communication skills. Knowledge and understanding of Higher Education and/or Health Service provision would be an advantage but not essential.

If this post is accepted on a secondment basis the successful candidate will continue to be employed on their existing salary and conditions and any costs will be recharged to the University.
