PRACTICE ASSESSMENT RECORD & EVALUATION (PARE) PROJECT

SENIOR WEB DEVELOPER

(Initially a fixed term contract or 12 month secondment)

£33,518 - £36,613 per annum

Based at either the Warrington, Shrewsbury or Clatterbridge Campus

The University of Chester is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Senior Web Developer to help further develop the Practice Assessment Record & Evaluation (PARE) Project. This project seeks to embed the use of web-based practice learning assessment and practice learning evaluation processes across a range of Higher Education Institutions (HEI) and healthcare placement providers; and across a range of differing healthcare progression groups / programmes. This is an exciting time to join the project, as the next step is to branch into a range of other practice related fields, ranging from Education and Engineering, to Art Therapy

The successful candidate will have experience within a senior web development role, including experience of programming using Object Oriented PHP and MySQL; in addition to Knowledge of HTML5, Javascript/JQuery, CSS, W3C Standards and other authoring and enhancing tools.

You will have an ability to problem solve, with excellent communication and supervision skills. Knowledge and understanding of Higher education and/or Health Service provision would be an advantage but not essential.

If this post is accepted on a secondment basis the successful candidate will continue to be employed on their existing salary and conditions and any costs will be recharged to the University.
