We are looking for highly motivated
and enthusiastic Registered Mental Health Nurses to join our specialist team as
Band 5 Staff nurse.  You will be expected
to provide high quality evidence-based care and support to clients who
experience a diverse range of mental health issues within the Forensic
Services. The post requires the successful applicant to work mainly 08.30 -16.30
Monday to Friday.

Applicants should have some experience
of working with a Forensic client group and some knowledge of community
settings.  The post holder will have
clinical and managerial responsibility for a forensic caseload with supervision
and support from a team leader.

The candidate should have good inter–personal
skills and the ability to work autonomously. The service has an established
Forensic Team and the applicant must have effective communication skills. The
role incorporates giving support and education to patients, carers, health
professionals, community accommodations and working in partnership with the
Forensic Team to provide a high level of care.

The applicant should
also be a car owner with a full current driving licence/ or have access to a
car.  

The applicant should
have completed Flying Start with varied post registration experience.
