Here at Brand, we are working with an international-scale charitable organisation who holds Christianity at the core of its values, who are looking to recruit an experienced PR Specialist to join their committed team of passionate individuals. Due to the principles, practices, ethos and mission of this charity, it is required that you are a practicing Christian and would feel happy to attend daily group prayer sessions (in accordance with Equality Act 2010 - Genuine Occupational Requirement).
Reporting to Marketing Manager, as PR Specialist, your core focus shall be on the development and implementation of public relations and external communications strategies across the organisation with the aim of boosting brand awareness and engagement. Your daily responsibilities will include:
-Development and maintenance of key media relationships - developing and presenting new ideas where appropriate;
-Coordination of all PR activities - working with other global teams to create international-scale continuity;
-Researching and creation of a variety of written materials for online including press releases, articles, blogs etc;
-Analysis and reporting on key PR campaign data to enable continual improvement.
For this role, it is required that the successful candidate has well-rounded experience in PR and media, with a key emphasis on the ability to communicate effectively to a diverse range of people - inspiring a 'call to action' amongst audiences. It is also desired that the successful candidate holds a degree or equivalent higher education qualification.
