My client is a Cheshire based integrated communications agency, who is recruiting for a seasoned senior account manager or account director to lead a portfolio of clients involved in scientific and technical industries such as analytical instrumentation, pharmaceutical processing and genomics.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate a proven track record in leading large, multi-location teams to deliver PR and integrated marketing programmes for multi-national b2b clients.
The successful person will be expected to play a key role in developing business and managing existing client relationships, as well as developing the skills of junior team members.
You will have specific account responsibility for several named accounts and will also develop new business alongside senior management. You will be expected to expand current business through the identification of projects and other revenue generating opportunities and the development of proposals for clients.
The position will be based Cheshire and may require occasional travel to clients around the world. Scientific knowledge, experience or qualifications would be beneficial. A proactive, driven, fast-paced approach to client service and team development is essential, as is agency experience.
