PR Manager

Our client is a leading professional services organisation based in Witney which is currently experiencing phenomenal growth! As a result, they are now looking to on-board a PR and Media Relations Manager to manage and develop their external communications and media relations strategy.

Our client has built a reputation for their offering of bespoke services and their friendly, efficient and professional way of doing things. As PR and Media Relations Manager you will support in maintaining an enviable reputation for excellence by creating engaging content and communication pieces at both a local and national level.

Reporting into the Marketing Manager you will work closely with the wider marketing team to coordinate outgoing communications across social media platforms.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop a robust media relations strategy with the aim of securing placements across print, broadcast and online

  • Liaise with the social media team to engage audiences across traditional and new media

  • Cultivate new media relationships and contacts across relevant industry media

  • Manage all incoming media enquiries and requests

  • Create engaging content for press released, articles, blogs and company newsletters

  • Monitor, analyse communicate PR results on a monthly basis

  • Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising

  • Maintain market and industry knowledge and trends to ensure the communication strategy remains relevant

Your skills and experience should include:

  • 3+ years’ experience within a marketing / media relations / PR role

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Good understanding of social media

  • Self-motivated with a professional approach

  • Commercial awareness with the ability to decipher and report on ROI
