The client provides professional services, including consultancy, advice, and project based activities, across a range of sectors, including IT and technology, digital, scientific and pharma. They are established, have built an enviable track record and reputation, and are highly regarded in the market.
The role is responsible for further raising exposure and brand profile through developing and deploying high-impact PR and content strategies, which will provide targeted lead generation, and support the identification and winning of new business. Critical to success in this role will be the ability to work with senior level stakeholders and subject-matter-experts across the business to understand commercial drivers, aims and objectives, translating and distilling this into actionable plans, writing and creating content, and implementing across all relevant media channels and platforms. The role will monitor, manage and report on response and results, and ensure that the business capitalises on leads. The mix will include case studies and the showcasing of projects, white papers, editorial and press releases, which will be deployed across the appropriate range of media channels, encompassing digital and websites, social media, video, magazines and publications, conferences and events. It goes without saying that the role will be expected to develop, nurture, and leverage a strong network of media contacts, journalists, and influencers. The role will require an element of UK travel.
Candidates will be experienced in planning, writing and creating compelling content and editorial for Public Relations and communications campaigns, across both digital and traditional media channels. We are looking for candidates who can think strategically and understand how their activities add commercial value, but who is also comfortable in a very hands-role writing, creating and delivering content. An appreciation of technology sectors would be useful, as would be a consultative approach gained in an agency-side or consultancy role; however candidates may also have operated client-side.
The role may also be suited to a candidate looking for a part-time / flexible working opportunity, 3-4 days per week.
