We are currently seeking an outgoing and enthusiastic PR Administrator to join a dynamic team within a reputable organisation based in the Harwell area. This position would be suited to a hardworking and creative individual looking to progress their Public Relations career within a commercial environment.

Working within the Communications team the PR Administrator role will provide support to the team on a number of public relations and media activities including the production and issue of media releases, responding to media enquiries, monitoring of media coverage and the
distribution of company news

Offer Package:
Salary:£17,000 - £18,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Location: Harwell area, Oxfordshire
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Type: Permanent

Role responsibilities:
*Acting as a point of contact for media enquiries and, with the wider team, ensuring all communications are managed effectively, professionally and in a timely manner
*Working with the team help to research and write media releases aimed at consumer media
*Maintaining the company media contact list and developing specialist lists as required.
*Collating and distributing media cuttings and other communications, utilising the company account
*Supporting the wider PR team by carrying out any administrative tasks as required
*Regularly recording member contact ensuring that the interaction and outcomes are input to the customer database to maintain records and reference member data - in relation to company news
*Following organisational process and procedures to ensure member expectations and agreed service level agreements are met
*Managing and protecting member and customer information in accordance with policy and data protection legislation
*Undertaking such other duties, commensurate with the responsibilities above, as may from time to time be required by members of the management team

Essential skillset required:
*Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Exceptional telephone manner with the ability to clearly present information in an engaging and confident manner
*Excellent operational and organisational skills
*Proactive, self-motivated and professional
*Sense of responsibility and integrity
*Able to manage difficult situations.
*The ability to work as part of a team, support colleagues and promote excellent team spirit
*Strong administrative, organisational and time management skills
*An eye for detail with the ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and within a small team
*IT Literate with demonstrable knowledge of MS Office including Outlook
