PR Account Manager - B2B Tech - Work from home!

A very rare opportunity has just arisen for a fantastic PR Account Manager to join a growing PR agency founded on the principals of flexible working. If you’re looking for an opportunity which allows you to work predominantly from home, to work around family or personal commitments, this is the one for you!

The agency in question works with a range of SMEs in the B2B technology space, helping them to gain traction and awareness in the public and government sectors as well as the wider technology arena. The successful PR Account Manager will need to have solid experience and knowledge of B2B technology PR, as an understanding of how to communicate clearly and concisely on complicated technology concepts is imperative.

Having an interest in and an understanding of politics & government affairs will also be massively beneficial. This is not a public affairs role, but due to the fact that their clients provide tech to the public sector, you will be expected to build contacts with wider industries than just journalists.

The agency operates a very flat structure, and whilst they have a base in London, everybody works from home the majority of the time. They meet regularly for meetings, with clients and as a team, and are constantly in communication with each other. There is no expectation to work outside of office hours, unless absolutely essential, and many members of the team find that the work situation works fantastically around their own personal commitments.

As well as an excellent knowledge of the tech media landscape and a good knowledge of the public sector, you will be a strong, experienced writer and a brilliant client manager. New business will also be an element of the role, so experience of pitching for new business or being involved in the research and planning process would be beneficial.
